The hottest month of the year is upon us. But mother nature seems to have mercy. Rain, and clouds are the norm in the last two days. The forecast seems to be more of the same for the next few days.
If you garden in Houston, at this point you know summers are hot, humid, hotter and more humid. Almost all plants do not like conditions of this type. Few annuals bloom in the summer heat. The exception are our wonderful crape myrtle.(they are not native, tough. They are from Asia, and perennials, since they are trees).
