I’m a novice in the making!, my first ever cold hardy annual plants are in the soil already, hopefully if they grow, by fall there will be viola flowers continuing till early next spring.Violas and pansies are the annuals workhorses of the fall-winter Houston climate(although ornamental cabbage too) , holding alive even at 10 degrees Fahrenheit, but the same way now I grasp the knowledge of hot summer annuals, I will know the same about the cold hardy violas in the next 3 seasons of the year.
